I believe a new language should be invented. It would be universal and have only two sounds. One is the sound of breathing in and the other the sound of breathing out. It would be like a digital language. Yeah, it would sound like everybody is in heat all the time, but at least we'd all understand each other.

I hope my boss language are included in the extinct list.He's from the south parts of Sweden and there they talk like they forgot to swallow their morning porridge..By the way here comes a tiny swedish word lesson..Slut=The end...Fart=Speed...Bad=Bath..We have also exported two words which are familiar i guess..smörgåsbord and ombudsman..Take care..

First time commenting on your site. Saw your ipod reporting at the Apple event for geekbrief podcast. Now a regular textra podcast fan.

Yeah I think globalization has made everyone blend in cultures and languages. But the ironic thing is many countries outside the US, people can speak 2 to 3 languages. Most can speak some English, because thats what every country makes there students learn in grade school. Our educational system doesn't do that unless you are in high school and are planning to go to college. I think its mandatory 3 years now of foreign language.

Also check out this one movie called Idiocracy. It stars Luke Wilson. Its from the director who made Office Space. Its a dumb comedy but the satire of the story is really dead on. The funny thing about this movie is that it was produced by Fox. They didn't promote the movie at all when it was about to launch and then when it did launch it was only on 300 screens. I think it made around 900K in its theatrical run. Once it went to DVD it made 9 million. After watching this movie you can see why they didn't want to promote it. This movie is kinda like what your post is. The futures doom. Check it out. You will either hate it or laugh your butt off. Have a good day and keep up the good work.
